THREE!
Three looks better to me than two.
I just like things in 3's.
I admit, I'm a little compulsive about it.
I can't stop myself.
(yeah, I made another one.)

Me too. And I still haven't made that monkey knot! Hey, saw your coffee table on Craft Gossip. Congrats!
I love the little fan!
That's funny...my favorite number has always been 3. When I was young and road in horse shows, I always wanted my number to have a 3 in it. My boyfriend's (now hubby) football jersey in high school was 33. After I had my third baby, our family just felt "right". It's a nice happy number:)
I love those monkey knots and still haven't made any! I need to get some rope. They're so stinkin' cute!
I love all those pictures! There is something about 3...
Love the monkey knots, you do such a great job on them, three is a great number especially for decorating!

In my florist classes three and five are very important. Landscaping too, you should always plant at least three of the same bushes together.
I'm a 3 girl, too! Couldn't even stop at 2 kids ;)
3 is the magic number. Schoolhouse Rock wrote a song about it. Of course I love it for many reasons. That's why it's in my blog title. So, the ruler 3 in the first picture: Did you have to take it apart and redo to make it look like a 3 or just position the pieces like that? I have a couple of those rulers and I've got the perfect place for it. Great idea.
OHHH I LOVE your HUGE 3! GENIOUS! I get weird about my "collections" as well. I have to have 3 or 5! I look at it like this, if you just had 2 of those rope balls, someone would just think, "hmmM, 2 rope balls" but when you have 3 it looks like a collection!
BTW, thank you so very much sweetie for you comment on my blog! You made my day!
Love the photos of your three-somes. I love looking at the photos of your house. You should do a whole series of photos of your different rooms, like on the old painted cottage blog. I would love to see that.
Love it...and you probably know that is the number one rule of decorating. Things singly...or in 3 or 5. Unless you want formal and then it's even numbers. I love the threes too! It just feels "right" somehow. Diana
Crack me up. I'm definitely an odd number displayer....but my screaming perfectionist persona still demands evenness in all things. Which is why she's locked away in a dungeon.
Just stumbled upon your blog recently, and love it. I added it under my 'flea market cottage' tab so others can get inspired :)
Okay, remember to proofread next time...
I'm with you all the way. Three is so not a crowd when it comes to decor (and that vintage fan is to die for!).
Just saw your totally cool chicken hutch coffee table over at Remodelaholic - awesomeness!
