Hahahahaha! Been there...done that. I can't tell from that little picture which it is.
I hate it when you have a picture in your mind of exactly what you want, and you just know you can create it...then it doesn't turn out the way you pictured it. Sometimes, with a little more tweaking, those mistakes can turn into something fabulous!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so go with what you like- that's what I say! Suzanne, I have missed your last few posts- where in the mary jo hale have I been? HA HA Love the new button(I took it) and love that collection of yellows and blues that you showed us. I collect nothing in particular, just lots of glassware- 2 full cabinets that I brought home from our furniture store in the spring. -plus what is in the closet in the study! Can you say obsession? LOL ~ Sue
Yes, you and me both.....got bookshelves drying in the garage as I type, wondering what kind of finish they'll end up with after I get wicked frustrated.....
Yes DO share the rest of the pic Suzanne.... :o) ! The beauty of working with paint is that you can keep going until you DO like it or sand it off & start afresh....!!
When I paint, it NEVER turns out exactly how I pictured it in the beginning. Each coat of paint changes the way the final version looks in my head. And, yes, I've crossed that line MANY times!!

I see interesting, not hideous. :) But there's always another coat.

I like it... so deffinately interesting in my book... but we are always second guessing ourselves!
It's interesting enough to want to see the rest of the piece. Come on, share!
