and i think imperfections will make it look perfect- too "right and perfect" won't have the rustic charm.
he's so cute! can't wait to see those cubbies you're working on! sounds like quite a project....one that I could never accomplish! but, you will make those babies look amazing!! you are so talented!!

Agree. A large portion of women blog to receive the kudo's they wish they had at home.
While I have a hubby that reads my blog and helps me out with my DIY projects I realize I am in a small majority.
I like the idea of a bit of imperfection.
Heck yeah, I agree! Who'd want to work on OUTSIDE projects if there was such a great distraction INSIDE??

I so agree! Even when I "force" my hubby to take a look at something I worked on for hours/days, his response is ALWAYS "it's nice, what's for dinner?".
I can't wait to see the end result of your cubbies! I've been thinking I have a perfect spot for a set of my own.
I would agree but one of my good girlfriends has a son who's a deadringer for Ryan. I use to change his diaper so now I can't look at Ryan the same way again. My friend's son has totally ruined it for me! :)

I definitely agree. Heck ... I probably do half the home remodeling I do just to get a complement or to make someone (my husband) proud of me. I usually have to ask what somebody thinks ... and then I'm lucky if I get more than "that's nice" or "interesting". ....forget reading my blog. I think if I made tons of money off my blog or projects ... that might actually rate a "good job". Wow .... did I just completely vent? Oooh...sorry. I read so many blogs that cheerfully say how their hubbies are so helpful ...yada yada....do you think that's the case with most bloggers? Sorry...didn't mean to sound so petty.
