And That's The End Of That

Look at this!

Our float

earned this ribbon

for best patriotic theme.
I was glad~the committee really worked hard on it. We all did!

This one was the judges pick, and mayor's pick.

This one didn't win anything that I could see. I don't know why~it was awesome!

I don't remember if this one did, either. It really was cute.

And that is the last post you will see here on parade floats.
(Thank goodness!)

Thanks for reading!

Congratulations!! I haven't seen floats like that in years... ours are mostly tractors and firetrucks. It looks like a great parade full of American Spirit! t. xoxooxo

oh my goodness - those floats are AWESOME! Great job to ALL the float committees - plus it looks like the weather was picture perfect for a 4th of July parade.
Back when I was a kid, the parade in our town consisted of the firetruck, followed by 35 kids with streamers taped to the handlebars of their bikes, followed by the town mayor sitting in a convertible with a hand lettered sign (magic marker) on posterboard paper taped to the side of the car that said Our Mayor.

Hope your holiday was fun and fabulous!!

Congrats!! That was well deserved. The one with the plane looked really hard, wonder why it didn't get anything.
