What a darling old chair! The perfect era. I think it's around my age. :@
My mother still has that high chair, it was originally hers in the early 1950's. She's the oldest of 5, so all of her siblings and all of us grandkids each sat in that chair. When my grandparents died, my mom and dad moved into their home, and so both of my kids have each sat in that chair, too. Thanks for sharing!
Hi, Suzanne! Just found your blog this morning--I'm a vintage-loving girl, too...You're so lucky getting this highchair! What a wonderful friend you have! I missed out on one very similar to this one at an estate sale this summer--was already sold!I'm your newest follower--see you soon!Julie
Pretty sure I took my early meals in one similar to that. Does it date me?~Bliss~
Super cute! I have a hand-me-down high chair from a friend that her mom used for her and then she used for her kids. I'll probably keep it forever because of her history and then mine with my kids.
